which ideolagy do you support?

the ideology that i support is the centrist ideology.The political party that I favour would be the liberals

-most of the issues centrist parties deal with are farly reasonable and fair to all.
-I like how our individual rights come first
-i dont expect to be a poor person or a wealthy person when i grow up so centrist will help my situation.

1. What is the YCJA?
The YCJA is the Youth Criminal Justice Act that has been in Canada since 2003. It gives specific rights and different situational trials and sentences to people under 18. The reason is to focus more on rehabilitation for young criminal offenders, instead of ptting them in an adult jail which only teaches them how to be a better criminal


.2. Explain the new "balance" in the act.

Some of the changes with this act have lowered the age from 16 to 14 for youth offenders, and only send the youth offenders to adult court if they are repeat offenders. The media cannot publish the name or pictures of young offenders in the paper or the news. It focus's more on the rehabilitation of the young peoples, so that they can make a new lifestyle that is not related to a criminal life. Giving them a second chance, instead of sending them to adult prison where they will just get worse.

I support fascism because they are very war orrientated and i believe that that is a strong characteristic that will be helpful in the future.
I also believe that it is important for private ownership of buisnesses and land because my mom is an owner of her own buisness and I plan on opening my own buisness when I grow up.
I don't believe in equality because that exiles the private ownership factor that i believe is important.

MARTIN LUTHER KING JR.

(January 15, 1929-April 4, 1968)

Was an American clergyman, activist and prominent leader in the African-American civil rights movement. His main objective was to make progress on civil rights in the U.S. and is viewed as a human rights icon. Early into his career, Martin became a civil rights activist and led the montgomery bus boycott after rosa parks refused to have give up her seat on a bus for a white man. In 1963 he led the march on washington where he made his "I have a dream" speech.

In 1964, King became the youngest person to receive the Nobel Peace Prize for his work to end racial segregation and racial discrimination through civil disobedience.

Martin Luther king was assassinated on april.4,1968. He was awarded the presidential medal of freedom and congressional gold medal, and was alson givin his own national holiday "Martin Luther King Day".

If it were'nt for this man and Malcom X, black people would not have the rights they do today and america's president would not be an african american.

Nelson Mandela

he was born in Transkei, South Africa on July 18, 1918. Mandela was educated at University College of Fort Hare and the University of Witwatersrand and qualified in law in 1942. He joined the African National Congress in 1944 and was engaged in resistance against the ruling National Party's apartheid policies after 1948. He went on trial for treason in 1956-1961 and was acquitted in 1961.

Nelson Mandela sacrificed 27 years in prison, and encouraged mass protests.

Civil disobedience is the active refusal to obey certain laws, demands and commands of a government, or of an occupying power, without resorting to physical violence. It is one of the primary tactics of nonviolent resistance. In its most non-violent form (known as ahimsa or satyagraha) it could be said that it is compassion in the form of respectful disagreement. Ghandi showed civil disobedience by going on alot of non-violent strikes such as hunger strikes, he was the leader of india and the indian independance movement. Ghandi was a practitionar of non-violence and truth, he was a great leader..
